Choose packaging that protects the formula, dispenses the right amount, can be filled reliably, and works for the intended use. Viscosity, flow, particles, dose, and application method all affect that choice.

Review may also consider suspension behavior, formula-contact materials, repeated opening, air and light exposure, headspace, filling conditions, seal and closure fit, clean dispensing, and user experience.

A similar-looking package or supplier recommendation is a starting point, not approval. Compatibility should be reviewed with the final formula and complete component system before production.

Prepare Labels, Cartons, and Artwork for Production

Rixin reviews the proposed visual direction against the selected package and production requirements. The review can include package color and finish, label and carton structure, decoration, print areas, artwork adaptation, color references, legibility, and space for required information.

A dieline is the print-and-cut production template for a label or carton. Package, label, and carton names should remain consistent across approved files, and artwork must fit the physical dimensions, component shape, decoration area, and production method.

Artwork adaptation supports production preparation; it does not provide universal legal or regulatory approval. Final wording and market-facing information depend on the destination market and qualified review.

Production-readiness considerations

Validate Filling, Transport, and Approval Stages

The packaging system must be fillable, sealable, usable, and suitable for handling and transport before production approval.

  1. Confirm packaging direction.
  2. Review formula and dispensing fit.
  3. Prepare components, decoration, and artwork.
  4. Review samples or physical references.
  5. Confirm production specifications and remaining checks.

The exact sequence depends on the project. Formula approval does not automatically approve the package, and artwork approval does not establish correctness in every market.
